Let's Get Started

Chris Faw, a 30-year Harrisburg resident passionate about evolving our town while keeping the small-town charm alive and well.

    My Story

My wife Cathy and I moved from Charlotte to Harrisburg nearly 30 years ago to raise our two children. We chose Harrisburg because of the small-town feel and the schools. I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree from Western Carolina University (Go Cats!) in Radio/TV and Motion Pictures. I have spent countless hours in industry-related training courses through various outlets, including the Harvard School of Business. I consider myself a lifelong learner. My work experience includes over four decades in the media business including Radio/TV broadcasting with local television stations and most recently as a Senior Vice President with Charter Communications (Spectrum), a Fortune 100 Company. I hold industry patents as well as a technical Emmy for advertising excellence. I am a former private pilot and airplane owner. I love to travel either in the sky or on an old winding road. When I'm not spending time with my two granddaughters, I am soaking up the sun in South Carolina at the beach. I also enjoy giving back to the communities that have been so good to my family and myself over the years.
